Wash

It is important to wash your fur babies and brush their teeth

Washing your fur baby regularly is an essential part of caring for them. Unless your fur baby just spent the afternoon splashing in mud puddles, you probably don’t need to wash them more than once a month. Some fur babies with longer coats will require more frequent washes.

Post wash, dry your fur baby as much as you can with a high-absorbent dog towel. Our large high-absorbent dog towel will dry small to big size fur babies faster.  If you like, put on our cute dog bathrobe for your fur babies to keep them warm.

Don’t forget to brush your fur baby's teeth. Like us, it is ideal to brush your fur baby's teeth at least twice daily. Brushing three times a week is the minimum recommendation to help remove plaque and prevent tartar accumulation.

It is recommended to use dog toothbrushes that are available and are specifically designed for use in dogs. Regardless of the type of dog toothbrush you use, it is important to be gentle and go slowly as it is easy to accidentally poke the tip of the dog toothbrush against the gums and cause some irritation.

Do not use human toothpaste. Human toothpaste contains ingredients that should not be swallowed. If it is swallowed, it can cause an upset stomach or digestive disturbances. Some human toothpaste contains high levels of sodium which may even make your fur baby ill, while others may contain xylitol which is toxic for your fur babies.
