Dog Toys

Dog toys are not a luxury, but a necessity

Many behaviour problems in our fur babies are the result of boredom or excess energy. Dog toys offer mental and physical stimulation and enrichment. Directing your fur baby’s energy into play with dog toys can prevent or help resolve such problems as digging and chewing on furniture, shoes or shrubbery.

Dog toys are important to your fur baby’s well-being. Dog toys help fight boredom when you have to leave your dog at home and provide comfort when they’re feeling nervous.

Balls make great dog toys for fetching. Many fur babies enjoy chasing balls. Or give them an interactive ball that can be filled with treats.

Dental chew dog toys are hard dog toys that your fur baby can gnaw on and safely ingest small particles.

Soft stuffed toys are good for several purposes. If your fur baby sees their toy as a companion, pick one that's small enough to carry. Some fur babies want to shake their toys, so choose one that's large enough to prevent accidental swallowing.

Provide a few dog toys that serve a variety of purposes — give your fur baby at least one toy to carry, one to shake, one to roll and one for comfort. If your fur baby has a favourite, like a soft comfort toy, make sure it is accessible all the time.
