Safe travel with your fur baby

Ensuring our fur baby's safety while travelling is the best thing to do, as in some states, as fines apply if your babies travelling on the back of utes are not restrained. Unrestrained fur babies were a potential distraction to the driver. Even more importantly, if your fur baby is not restrained and you’re in an accident, your fur baby can be seriously injured or killed.

There are three critical safety benefits of using dog seatbelts or restraints:

  1. Window safety - your fur baby will not be tempted to jump from a window, nor will be at risk of falling out of an open window as a result of sudden directional changes or braking.
  2. Driver distraction - there's less chance of the driver being distracted if a pet is unable to move around the vehicle.
  3. Collision protection - if you suddenly brake or have a sudden impact there is less chance of your fur baby becoming a projectile.

How to ensure your fur baby's safety during the travel? One of a few ways is by putting on a dog harness for your fur baby and fastening it to a dog seatbelt when travelling with your fur baby. Dog seatbelts or restraints will keep your fur baby from injury or being killed in case an accident happens.
